We are committed to
keeping your loved ones
safe during COVID.

As this virus continues to spread we must be steadfast in maintaining and upholding proper procedure put forth by the CDC.

Any reports of exposure or illness need to be reported immediately to the office.

Potential risks will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

*To mitigate risk of exposure and spread of Covid-19 CGs are encouraged to continue to wear a

mask at all times, remain gloved when performing close contact ADLs and practice good hand

washing, using sanitizer if soap and water are not available.

Caregivers:

If a caregiver reports any illness or exposure they will need to be removed from the schedule

for a minimum of 14 days or until they are able to test negative for Covid-19. A doctor’s note

stating they are medically cleared to work is encouraged but not mandatory. If a CG remains

symptom free after 14 days, they will be allowed to return to work per the discretion of

management and in accordance to the CDC guidelines.

Clients:

If a client presents any symptoms their HCP should be contacted immediately to arrange

testing. A face covering should be worn by the client unless they are medically unable to. All

CGs on the case will be notified and encouraged to monitor their own health and report any

symptoms immediately.

If a client tests positive and is medically able to remain in their home, all CGs will be notified

immediately and must consent to continuing to work for the client. Proper PPE will be made

available to all CGs on the case; n95 or Kn95 masks, gowns, face shield, eye protection, hair

protection and gloves will be offered. If gowns are not available or CG prefers not to wear one,

long sleeves underneath their scrubs should be encouraged to prevent any exposed skin when performing close contact ADLs. PPE will be assessed on a case by case basis. i.e. if there is minimal risk of aerosols or client is showing little to no symptoms.

We will continue to operate with full transparency amongst the staff, clients

and their caregivers. Our main priority is safety for all.

Our company’s Covid-19 protocol is in accordance with the current recommendations

listed on CDC’s website, www.cdc.gov.
