Individuals navigating through the 7 stages of dementia experience various declines in areas such as communication, memory recall, personal hygiene, safety awareness, nutrition, taking medications regularly and basic physical abilities.  When we take on a case with an individual who suffers from memory loss, we first try to set up a team of caregivers who possess the skill-set and knowledge of caring for someone with a cognitive impairment.
